Let’s begin by talking a little about the company behind the Skipjack 90. Vibe Kayaks is fairly new to the kayak game and has only been around since 2013.

Comfort
Vibe Kayaks certainly had comfort in mind when creating the Skipjack 90. For your comfort, the kayak features built-in ergonomic backrests and comfortable cushioned seats.
There’s nothing worse than sitting in a hard, uncomfortable seat when you’re fishing for hours on end, so it’s really refreshing that Vibe Kayaks have considered this.
If you get thirsty on your fishing trips, then you’ll love the built-in cup holders! You can reach for your coffee or coke while you’re reeling in a fish.
Design
Made from ultra-stable rotomolded single piece polyethylene, the Skipjack 90 is fully waterproof and leak proof. The material used is super strong, sturdy and durable, with added built-in buoyancy to ensure you stay afloat, no matter the conditions.
The sleek hull design enhances the speed of the kayak, ensuring fast and nimble tracking to get you wherever you need to go, whether it be a hidden cove or further downstream.
The deck area has been made slip-resistant, to lower the chance of slipping overboard. It has enough stability to stay upright in the face of normal-sized waves. You can even stand up to fish if you’d prefer.
This doesn’t mean you should stop being careful though! It still only takes a bump and a lack of balance to fall in.
Let’s not forget that the kayaks look great. You have a choice between three colors of kayak:
- Jam Berry (a light blue mixed with purple)
- Moss Camo (light and dark green)
- Wildfire (brown and orange)

The kayak features a 6-inch sealed V-wave deck plate with a waterproof cargo bag, perfect for storing your valuables.
There’s also storage space at the front and rear of the kayak, both of which have bungee tie-downs.
For your tackle, there’s a tackle toss tray that is perfect for quick tackle changes.
